MoMA – Party in the Garden

  • Date: June 5, 2017
  • Venue: Museum of Modern Art (MoMA)
  • Size: 10 Clearspan Structures, Various Sizes

MoMA’s annual Party in the Garden, a special evening that benefits the Museum’s general operating fund, is hosted in the beautiful Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Sculpture Garden. The outdoor courtyard at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City is home to more than a dozen world-renowned sculptures, including works by Alexander Calder and Pablo Picasso.

Arena Americas carefully worked around each piece to install 10 soaring clearspan tents in the garden. This A-list event required an unusual 3m x 15m (10’ x 50’), as well as 15m x 15m (50’ x 50’) and 6m x 9m (20’ x 30’) tents. To keep MoMa supporters connected with the Sculpture Garden, Arena Americas used only open-sided structures with clear panels!
