2017 U.S. Open at Erin Hills
Arena Americas installed 265 tent structures for the 117th U.S. Open Championship at Erin Hills in Erin, WI. The event required 123 truckloads of product, 50 construction workers, and more than 102 days to construct! The finished tents were used to create a “Fan Central” spectator area as well as for corporate hospitality, food & beverage, ticketing, and media.
The heart of Fan Central was a 39,000 sq. ft. Merchandise Pavilion. Over the course of the U.S. Open, tens of thousands of customers passed through our clearspan tent to purchase upwards of 400,000 Erin Hills souvenirs!
On the Course at Erin Hills
Arena Americas installed several double-decker tents for corporate hospitality. Each temporary structure was air-conditioned, included premium outdoor seating, and had a kitchen area and back-of-house for event caterers.
The interior was customized with flooring, furniture, and décor to help sponsors easily entertain clients (and prospects) during the U.S. Open. The exterior had raised seating platforms for the best view on the course.
2017 marked the first U.S. Open at Erin Hills and the first in the state of Wisconsin. Arena Americas was honored to support this world-class event!
