NCAA Final Four
After more than four months, 10,000-plus regular season games and a heart-pounding four rounds of the NCAA Tournament, the Final Four basketball game was held at the AT & T Stadium in Dallas on April 5. In total, 739,189 fans attended the 36 sessions of the 2014 tournament championship game which set a record for the highest attendance ever.
Arena Americas provided tenting and related equipment for the NCAA Tournament. We provided a temporary environment for the main event sponsor which housed the pre-game party. The hospitality structure featured a custom printed gable, front balcony and wood flooring. We also installed scaffolding for all of the entry points and media decks. The event drew a record setting attendance of 1,829 media members.
The Final Four continues to evolve and grow each year, as evidenced by the record crowds at the semifinal and championship game along with the number of television and online viewers. This event is becoming one of the greatest and most popular sporting events in the world.
“First, just wanted to thank you both and your team for the job that you guys did in both New Orleans and Dallas this year. As with any project, we had challenges but everyone worked together and the end result was what we all wanted. Everyone involved was very helpful, accommodating and understanding of the unique circumstances and issues at both events. Also, your lead and entire team is great to work with. Hopefully any project we are doing in the future, he will be part of those projects.”
